Stewart personally directs each BAR Studio project from conceptual beginnings through to operational opening, maintaining an active involvement throughout each stage.
This involvement, and his attention to detail, reflects his passion for his work. He takes on the responsibility for ensuring our projects meet both his high level of expectation and those of the client and operator.
FELICITY BECK
Principal/Director
Felicity steers BAR Studio’s governance, business development and work culture. Since establishing BAR Studio Felicity has used her business skills to develop it into a highly effective design studio that undertakes a select body of work.
Felicity focuses on finding the projects, relationships and processes that will deliver a rewarding experience for clients, collaborators and the studio itself.
ANDREW FRANCIS
Delivery Director
Andrew has nearly 30 years of professional experience in architecture and design and has developed an extensive understanding of high-end hospitality projects.
Andrew uses his knowledge of the overall management of complex projects and contractual issues to lead the delivery of all BAR Studio’s projects.
STEPHEN ROUTLEY
Technical Design Director
With his background in the building industry Stephen brings a crucial understanding of construction, coordination and site management to BAR Studio’s designs.
Stephen directs BAR Studio’s coordination and documentation, working on-site and in the studio to ensure the smooth translation of design into reality.
ROWENA HOCKIN
Curatorial Director
Rowena’s architectural experience and her extensive work writing about architecture and design allow her to operate across a number of fields within BAR Studio.
She establishes conceptual frameworks for our projects and develops detailed material specifications as well as steering the communications of the studio.
