The Role
Finding people who are a good fit for our studio is important to us, and we have a new opportunity for an Interior Designer - Area Leader to join our growing team. Working closely with the Design Leader, you will be the lead team member responsible for implementing the design of designated areas of a hospitality project from concept through to completion.
This exciting opportunity will suit a collaborative, proactive and highly skilled person with a high attention to detail to take an approved concept through design development and documentation to achieve an exceptional outcome.
As the Interior Designer, you will be responsible for the following:
Creation of design in collaboration with the project design team;
Developing the design in 3D SketchUp and 2D AutoCAD;
Communication with both internal and external stakeholders;
Quality Assurance to ensure documentation complies with current regulations and satisfies scope requirements
The successful candidate will be qualified in Interior Design, ideally have experience working on high end hospitality projects. Strong documentation skills are preferable. You will also have strong organisational skills, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You will have a working knowledge of SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
