As a part of a major transformation of this iconic property BAR Studio was commissioned to upgrade the much-loved institutions Harbourside and The Steak House.

 

The Harbourside redesign introduces a modern aesthetic to the dining destination, which
has spectacular harbour views and plentiful natural light. Providing a framework for the established buffet operation, the venue takes its cue from an eye-catching existing feature – a series of large indoor trees – to cultivate the feel of a harbourside garden. Custom furnishings and design details such as leather panels and antique-finish mirrors create an inviting residential-style space for relaxed socialising.

 

The Steak House comprises three diverse experiences within the evening-only space – the main dining room offering flexible seating options, a sophisticated private function room and a wine cellar looking into the show kitchen, housing the iconic grill. Embracing Hong Kong’s thrilling nocturnal scenes and the harbour’s neon reflections, the redesign of The Steak House restaurant brings the next level of contemporary luxury to this popular dining destination.
